2026 LADOT Community Non-Rider Survey
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT Transit) is conducting a community survey to better understand public awareness, perceptions, and potential future use of public transportation services in the Los Angeles area. Your feedback will help LADOT Transit identify ways to improve communication, accessibility, and transportation options for residents.
This survey is designed for residents who have not used bus or rail services in the Los Angeles area during the past 12 months. Even if you do not currently use public transportation, your opinions are important and will help LADOT Transit better understand the needs and preferences of the broader community.
The survey will take approximately 12-15 minutes to complete. Your responses will remain completely confidential and will be reported only in combination with those of other respondents. The information gathered will be used for planning and evaluation purposes.
As a thank you for fully completing the survey, you may choose to enter a drawing for a chance to win one (1) $500 prepaid Visa gift card. LADOT Transit has selected ETC Institute, an independent consulting firm specializing in transportation and community research, to administer the survey. ETC Institute will compile and analyze the results and present the findings to LADOT Transit.
